I was wondering if blizzard was going to make it so that you have to buy the expansion pack in order to continue playing.

    you will still be able to play.  you just won't get over level 60, won't be able to roll a blood elf or the unnamed alliance race, and won't have access to the new lands and instances that will be opening up.

    And murlocs would laugh at u becuase u dont have the expansion...
