DnL Website Problems

in Dark and Light

I havent been able to access the official website all week now, and i dont know why. I get the standard error of the page not being there. Its not my firewall as ive tried disabling it. It seems i cant access any pages on the site, neither bookmarked ones or direct links.

Anyone got suggestions?

    I have not had any problems this week, I have been typing in www.dnl.net. Hope you get on, I have just registered there and look forward to SoG coming out (at some point).

    Dam still nothing. Still cannot find server. The website is poorly implemented thats for sure, i knew lots of people on the forums having problems such as it going down randomly or unable to load pieces of the page.

    Omg finally, as im typing this, reset my modem again, tried the links above, but then again tried my guild thread link, and it appeared :D Talk about random luck, anyway thanks guys for the tips, now ironically, i can get onto designing the guild website lol

    Try this:

    Up top on Internet Explorer goto the "Tools" menu.

    Then, scroll down to "Internet Options"

    Under "Temperary Internet files" click on DELETE.

    Check the box for ALL files and then click OK.

     

    More than likely, your browser or ISP URL is still trying to access the old website, which doesnt exist.

    Browser cache would have nothing to do with it. That would be a DNS issue with their ISP. Some hold DNS cache longer then others.

    Well, the solution is the access the site trough a proxy server.

    Warked for me, after a 3 days of not being able to reserve my name i had a stoke of genius, did a browse for a free proxy server in the states , added the proxy into IE options and , voila', site is up and smoothlly runing.

    My two cents are bet on them changing the DNS and some ISP's do not yet updated so some of us cannot get into the site yet.
