I recently started a thread in the off topic forum that I think may have been removed by a moderator. The thread was about a car bombing in Iraq and had a link to actual film footage of the bomb exploding. Well about 10 minutes after posting the thread it suddenly disappeared. If it was in fact removed then I would've expected maybe a private message in my inbox explaining that the video was inappropriate. But I havent received any type of notice. So I'm left wondering if maybe there was a bug that deleted it or if it was in fact removed by a mod.
By Mods keeping an open communication they help us members to get an idea what is considered as inappropriate and unacceptable. So my question is this...Is it common practice for the mods to let a member know why their contribution was removed? If not I think it would be a good idea.
