Where do I find the patches

EQ2 should be delivered to me early next week, but as im on dial up I was looking to see if i could downlaod the updates over the week end so that im ready to rock n roll when the game comes.

Could somebody give me the urls from cd to current pls?

as far as i know you cant. unlike WOW which has large updates every once in a while, EQ2 has both large updates everyone once in a while (known as LiveUpdates) but MANY MANY small sort of "on the spot" fixes/changes. There have been hundreds of individual pathces since the game came out, and as far as i know theres no where you can get them all off the internet.

Your best bet would be to find someone you know and copy the files from their EQ2 folder directly to yours. other than that i dont think theres anything you can do.

Thnx for the information, if its going to be huge I will just head on down to the local pub which has adsl...any excuse will do

Last big patch I downloaded was 100mb and it took 7 hrs

No chance to get DSL or Cable where you live? It's so worth it.

They download off the patcher, you can close the patcher at anytime anyways

Telefonica are meant to be bringing adsl to my area, but it seems to be taking a long time.

Thats great news that i can halt patch downloading and start off again another night.

Well if you lose your connection then leave the box up and reconnect

 

If you wanna stop it then click the x to close it and not the cancel button

Thank you for your advice, having internet between 6pm and 8am has been the bane of my existance for over a year now. Ya never know if i do finally get adsl i might go

Then you have the problem of laggin in game

 

you'll probally have to solo and stay out of cities lol
