In which MMORPG town/city would you like to live, given the choice?

in The Pub at MMORPG.COM

For me it's either Star Wars Galaxies' Bestine (back when it was still populated) because of the surrounding area and the nice feeling of being safe in the middle of a rough desert.

Or World of Warcraft's Teldrassil or Ogrimmar. Especially a nice quiet town life of Teldrassil kind of appeals to me. I'd like to be the inn owner. Or perhaps even Crossroads, for the same reason as Bestine.

    Ascalon in Guild Wars is nice.

    Good thread, I really liked Anchorhead in SWG... mainly for the reasons you gave for Bestine. I also kinda like hanging around in IF in WoW.

    Fairhaven, in the lakelands in Ryzom. Such a beautiful city, floating on a lake.

    I hate hanging around IF, sure its populated... but you know, its kind of like china. Too much population in one area thank you very much.

    I would have to say the Zorai capital of Zora. I just love that city. Sure, at first its kind of hard to navigate... but its such a lovely place, with such great people. That and the amber supply is always great there ::::28::

    but.. I would rather build my own town and become an empire in Shadowbane, name it myself, build my own army to protect it.

    Rome is Anarchy Online IS very nice. I'd probably choose Borealis though. It's always been my favorite. Good topic!

    Might also be nice if you guys specified which jobs you want to do within the town you'll be living in. Preferebly not fighting classes unless it's like 'militia' or 'soldier' or something, just a random community service you'd prefer to be in your town of choice like me being the Innkeeper in Teldrassil.

    in Maj'Dul id be a town guard so i could teleport people to the arena if they fought in town

    in bastok i dont know what id be, its just a cool city IMO
