Question about exstra Jobs

in Final Fantasy XI

If you chose a mage whi/blk/red, is the only suitable exstra job a summoner?

Is summoners strong ? magic wise?

Call the other exstra jobs look like fighter oriantated is that right?

    Summoners have more MPs than any other job; at higher levels they get a job ability that continuously refreshes their MPs. This makes them a very popular subjob for mages, particularly white mages. It doesn't make it the only choice, though. For example, BLMs often like to sub WHM because they aren't so pressed for MPs and getting access to WHM spells means they can backup heal, which is often very useful.

    Red Mage, White Mage, Black Mage and Summoner are the mage classes, yes. The other classes (except Bard) are more oriented to physical combat (although Paladins and Dark Knights get spells to back up their fighting skills, and a Ninja's ninjutsu is classified as magic although it doesn't use MPs).

    how long have you been playing FF11 Chris? Sounds like a long time.

    Not that long, actually, but I read up a lot on the web. Allakazham, somepage and Killing Ifrit are probably the best resources.

    ekke u should get this game it is so good! so much to do places to see image i am in the middle of making cash atm and to do so i am fishing. The fishing has been updated recently and some catches can be a work out because when u catch a bit if your rod goes left u have to keep tapping the right button and same with if it went right u tap left.

    Also if u ever get bored of doing a certain job, instead of maing new characters like in other MMOs, u can just head to your mog house and pick another. It is great.
