Still tempering my expectations but here is a recent run down on what to expect. Sound like it will not be solo friendly, which I expected. Honestly it's OK, if you can find a decent guild. BTW check your amazon messages on amazon for closed beta test invite. They won' send it through your email.

I said this in another thread, but Ncsoft has reduced mob Hp by 85%, and keeps boosting xp gains since launch. So anyone can easily solo to endgame.

It's at endgame, where it becomes a massive grindfest. You have to lvl up skills on your weapons, and gather mats to upgrade your gear. That is where the grind comes from.

At endgame you won't be able to solo very much, everything from PVP to PVE, requires a massive alliance.

This isn't the one with a time rotation for PvP and Pve is it? So many of them coming out I can't keep track? :)

I'm kind of looking forward to the siege warfare myself. I'm sure I'll get bored from it after a few months, while it's new It will be fun.

The sieges are what I’m looking forward to. Will bring back Lineage 2 memories.

Wow that looks like fun but I not sure if I am up for that. I can never do what that Korean guy was doing... giving instructions in two languages. All that requires a good strategic mind. I can be a grunt though dying like a pawn.

I could understand him thanks to years of Korean dramas. It was fun to watch the whole thing. At one point I thought they might lose. Fantastic fun it was for those who participated. I so get the appeal of it.

I think this game if they can control the lag is going to rock.

Holy crap that was an amazing siege. May have to revise my opinion on this.

If you look at the comments they won against guilds who cheated. Now that is a satisfying victory.

The point is there were so many guilds so they were all coordinating and you can hear them talking too. That was so much calmness, no one trying to be top dog and asking others to shut up and stuff. Very well done. Like 1000 players ... no joke.

You need non abusive cooperation like this and encouragement. He was always saying good things and not scolding or chiding even in Korean. The others all worked well. It's true the attackers were botters and cheaters and so glad to see teamwork pay out over mindless botters who do not know how to play well but try to overwhelm with numbers.

You can see at certain points a few defenders holding out and I think this is mainly due to the fact that the attackers didn't know because they cheated how to play their characters well. You see the defenders were working together and the fact that they were overwhelmed but stayed focused was a joy to watch.

This was a very good showcase for the game.

Reminded me of back when I flew in Alliance fleets in EVE with the Red Army.

There were players translating fleet commands in voice back and forth between Russian and English the whole battle.

Most of us had separate coms in text chats based on our logistical role or ship types, plus personal or corp text chats as well to monitor.

Definitely was a significant challenge and if one's attention lapsed too much they might find themselves alone in space wondering where the heck did everybody go?

    Yes it is.

World Bosses spawn twice a day. Once in the Morning, and then at Night. The ones in the morning will spawn when PVE is on, the ones at night will spawn when PVP is on.

During the day, it's just a DPS race, to see who can get the loot.

At night, it's guilds fighting over the boss for loot.

Interesting to see how this one takes off and if it can retain players, the PvP set up is unique as far as I know.

No, but I'm more likely to give it a go post release.
