I feel like this a precursor to a Chinese gold farmer joke.

So....you want to know what the coincidence is about blizzard vs covid?

    Blizzards history.....
They were once a southeast company that moves to northern California when programming became popular, and the Koreans wanted to compete for millions of dollars in blizzard gaming competitions and take their millions back to Korea and possibly help their governments by going to colleges to become scientists and engineers. They will probably end up making weapons for Korea that attack us. Fast forward to today, and Sylvanus said she would set us all free, blizzard staff was outraged because Kotick was treating them badly, and the CEO, Kotick is possibly getting fired.

    Covid-19......

Though the bitcoin whitepaper was released by Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonym used by bitcoin's creator or creators, on October 28, 2008, many say its mint date of January 3, 2009, represents the cryptocurrency's birthday. Then the first of the flu pandemics started to spread from the Asian immigration and business travel.

Swine flu - In early April 2009, human infections caused by pandemic (H1N1) 2009 virus were identified in the United States (1) and Mexico (2). The virus then spread rapidly around the world. The People’s Republic of China reported its first case of pandemic (H1N1) 2009 on May 10, 2009.

Bird flu - Human infections with an Asian lineage avian influenza A(H7N9) virus (“Asian H7N9”) were first reported in China in March 2013.

The first time much of the world heard the term "ransomware" was during 2013's CryptoLocker outbreak. Discovered early in September 2013, CryptoLocker would cripple more than 250,000 computer systems during the following four months.

Viktor Yanukovych, Ukrainian president from 2010-14, His refusal to sign the Association Agreement with the European Union in November 2013 and the announcement of Ukraine’s drift toward a Russia-led customs union triggered the Revolution of Dignity, which eventually forced Yanukovych to flee in February 2014, opening a new chapter of the country’s modern history. That same month, Russia invaded Ukraine.

Bat flu - On 31 December 2019, WHO was informed of cases of pneumonia of unknown cause in Wuhan City, China. A novel coronavirus was identified as the cause by Chinese authorities on 7 January 2020 and was temporarily named “2019-nCoV”.

What coincidence can you find in all of that? That Silicon Valley is a worker's camp and they demand better benefits?

Yes and no.  In the sense of Xi Jinping making a lot of things worse, that's probably an indirect cause of both.  In the sense of one causing the other, no, there isn't a direct, causal relationship.

Yes, its coincidence. The idea of enraged WoW players who can't play their game taking to the streets did tickle me though. :)

It just means that Blizzard is switching to another company, not the first time this has happened apparently.

'But there are many. You can play them entirely solo, and even offline. Also, you are wrong by default.'

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

It is just huge resource waste....'
