The Lootboxes actually have posted odds!!!

My two biggest gripes with lootboxes are that they can target kids AND that they hide the odds in order to make people chase items they have a ridiculously low chance of winning.


Well, At least Lost Ark has the odds built right into the store where you buy them:


Just thought this was interesting... dunno if other games do this but it's a step in the right direction.  At least ADULTS can be informed before their gambling.

Still the kid issue... but thats for another thread.

    Unless you can earn them in game. Just not interested. Loved getting these for free in ESO.

    I mean, gacha systems have been doing this for a while now and are essentially lootboxes with a different name attached to them.

    Thanks for sharing this, and kudos to the devs for finally shedding some light on those elusive lootbox odds. It's about time, right? Now that we have the numbers, I'm curious to see if it changes how players approach lootbox acquisitions. Will it make the thrill of opening one even more exciting, or will it turn into a strategic game of maximizing the odds for the most epic loot?
