MMORPGs are projects done by douzens if not hundreds of talented and highly trained specialists, over years, with tools that arent easy to figure out.
Even 2D stuff is a lot of work, after all you still have to animate etc. So unless somebody has already made the necessary assets and you just have to plug them in, thats not going to be easy either.

Beyond the shadows there's always light
There was another game fractured online which I believe its a small team too. I dont' know if it is released or still in development.
Both is isometric and use unity engine. I'm actually quite suprise how 1 person or a small team can make a full mmorpg which actually works.
