Following the earlier (April 2021)
announcement of the move / expansion (in 2022) of its Frankfurt studio in a brand new 3000 sqm office, CIG posted its latest plan to significantly
scale up its UK base. After its move to the new office, the UK team should then expand from 400 to 700 devs by 2023 and "over 1000" by 2026.
So: 1) more devs, more content, long-term prospects and stability for the team - thumbs up! 2) peak after 2026, meaning more glacial development and releases - thumbs down.
Expect 6 new concept ships for sale shortly to finance the expansion

It sounds like struggling to find a good punch line, they've just settled on "more".

If this is true, that tells me they have no plans on releasing...IF they planned on releasing in say 2025, then they would be downsizing not hiring more....To me the whole thing is ridiculous.....If this all pans out, they will msot likely need 10 million subs a month to break even wit this large scale of a game.....No way this game releases.
Oh wait, they have already starting doing that, nevermind.
