The issue is the sheer amount of money they received from backers.  there should be no need to bring in investors unless they are mismanaging or scamming.  CR is incapable of pruning features, hell he's incapable of not adding them.

I thought RSI's investors were owners. As such they wouldn't get any guarantees about 30% return in 2 years, but rather the opportunity to take money out if RSI as company pays dividends or make profit by selling their ownership in the company if it's been doing well.

And we have no idea if RSI has paid dividends and how much. Imho it's one of the blind spots of legislation that crowdfunded companies are even allowed to pay dividends / do private withdrawals without revealing those to backers. 

I don’t know who RSI’s investors are.

I just know that if I invest, I invest in good faith. I‘ll stick to my side of the agreement and I expect the otherside to hold up to theirs.

Not all ships came with LTI the constellation Phoeinex did not come with Lti when it was sold at concept

" you talk about the purchasing of ships with real money and waiting until the game comes out. you also mentioned "if they come with some benefits" - well the article didn't mention it but yes, when you purchase the ship during a concept stage, you get it with lifetime insurance - the game has insurance for ships so that when they get destroyed, you can "file a claim" and get your ship back (if you have an insurance policy on it, just like a car). as the ships move forward in development, you get less starting insurance. when you buy the ship in game, i believe it comes with one month insurance. also, the insurance doesn't start until the game goes live, so having a ship now means you can blow it up as much as you want and just reclaim it - it only takes time. sometimes there are other benefits as well..."

The 890 jump, constellation phoenix, and the star farrier are scams. After 10 years I don't have a game. A lot of the star community is not welcoming and dishonest, especially on Reddit.  Now I understand why people call star citizen a cult.

CIG realy does a great job modelling all these ships, they put a lot o care into the tiny details. For instance, the 890 Jump is a great display of craftsmanship, tech and engineering excellence.

Pairing the best ships with the best planets makes great sci-fi porn.

Yes, there actually is a limit to your freedom of speech, at least on a privately owned web site which is governed by a TOC.

There's several minor infractions in your 870 posts, including 

Topic Hijacking
Posting comments within a thread which severely disrupts the original conversation is prohibited at MMORPG.com.

Trolling
Posting excessive negative comments or baiting others to respond in a negative manner is considered trolling on the MMORPG.com forums.

For example: If there is one game that you did not enjoy, voicing your opinion is encouraged. Posting this opinion in every thread concerning that game to the point that it disrupts all other conversation is not tolerated

Near as I can tell you create multiple posts in nearly every SC thread, none of which are topically related to the 870 ship.

Fortunately this site gives lots of leeway in rules enforcement or none of us would be here, but as I said, you really are beating this one subject to death.

Might be better for you to create a new thread about the 870 shenanigans specific mostly to yourself and confine updates to it then posting about it in every SC thread regardless of topic.

Remember, freedom goes both ways, you are free to post, others are free to call you out about it as well.

I am going to be really honest here. I have a lot of beef with reddit and social media as a whole. I didn't plan to stay with reddit I wanted to make a point for people to see here and other websites like Eurogamer.  I never ever had a very good experience s with reddit in the past. Just letting you know I deleted my account with reddit afterward.

I used Reddit cyberpunk community to get some upvotes but my real target was the star citizen community.

1). So one of the first places I wanted to join was the star citizen refund reddit community.  I had a hard time trying to voice my personal experiences with star citizen. I was met with a bot. Not a friendly experience from some who really hates social media. The only social media you can truly find in the past was youtube.

2)  I had a hard time loading a youtube video in the cyberpunk reddit community. Not a lot of upvotes

3)When I wrote about the 400I  in the star citizen reddit community I noticed I gain a lot of upvotes then suddenly a slow down vote.

what I really wanted to was express my thoughts about digital products I own the 890 jump. why because I knew what Star citizen community reactions would be. reddit reaction and my experience were some of the worse experiences in any forum or community period.

4) When I posted the 890 jump was an exploration ship. Guess what happened  I personally attacked. No surprised there.

5) I was bombarded with a lot questions by a lot of people, not a fun experience

6)I had people trying to force me to believe somehow believe the  890 jump was a transport ship, despite me posting picture proof of cig marketing.

7) had a lot of people trying to tell me the main role of  890 jump was a passenger transport ship

8) I had a lot of people despite me giving picture proof and youtube the 890 jump was an exploration ship I was being downvoted. So basically called a lair.

9) I  had people who were from spectrum with same old arguments the 890 jump just being touring ship. They also went out there way to call  the 890 jump useless and just a passenger l transport ship.

10) trying load pictures or even add youtube videos as proof was a night mare.

explain to me how what was done to me on reddit not be harassment.  why would I want to stay with star citizen,

lastly what thread  did I derail please humor me.

I will probably buy SQ42 when / if it ever is released in a traditional sense.

I probably lack the skills to be competitive in the greater SC universe and I'm definitely not improving as I grow older.

I hope they eventually deliver but will remain critical of their poor (IMO) development and delivery processes as I am of every indie MMORPG who do the same. 

But I'm not a customer yet, so am not a person CR needs to keep happy.

How is your comment even healthy ??? I am going to keep complaining and exposing star citizens. I thought star citizen was game? If this going to be my experience with gaming maybe gaming should be banned.  maybe China was right.

How is dishonesty and an unhealthy gaming community even ok. along with dishonest marketing plus false and misleading promises from a game company even ok?

Also, are you trying to somehow tell me that there is a limit to freedom of speech? A limit to my complaints I have over digital products I was misled by marketing and company that doesn't deliver what they promised after 10 years?

Yes, there actually is a limit to your freedom of speech, at least on a privately owned web site which is governed by a TOC.

There's several minor infractions in your 870 posts, including 

Topic Hijacking
Posting comments within a thread which severely disrupts the original conversation is prohibited at MMORPG.com.

Trolling
Posting excessive negative comments or baiting others to respond in a negative manner is considered trolling on the MMORPG.com forums.

For example: If there is one game that you did not enjoy, voicing your opinion is encouraged. Posting this opinion in every thread concerning that game to the point that it disrupts all other conversation is not tolerated

Near as I can tell you create multiple posts in nearly every SC thread, none of which are topically related to the 870 ship.

Fortunately this site gives lots of leeway in rules enforcement or none of us would be here, but as I said, you really are beating this one subject to death.

Might be better for you to create a new thread about the 870 shenanigans specific mostly to yourself and confine updates to it then posting about it in every SC thread regardless of topic.

Remember, freedom goes both ways, you are free to post, others are free to call you out about it as well.
