Walsh posts update on Kickstarter. 24 hours later it has 100% negative comments...

So Walsh made a Kickstarter update post detailing how "early technical challenges" had to be overcome to institute his Fog of War in his new RTS(?) game based on Chronicles of Elyria.   Not even 1 person in over 24 hours had a positive comment.

Does he not understand yet?  This is not trolling by Harbingers.  Everyone who posted in that thread was an actual person that gave him money.  That is the only way to post there.  That is pure feedback from his customer base.

Err, fog of war has been a thing in games since the 90s or even before. Seems like he has more of a competency challenge than anything else.

Also, I just checked out the update and all I saw was 15 Likes and no comments less than 8 days old, so he may have deleted the most recent?

I don’t think he can delete them.  I still see comments. Not sure if they are all there but I think so.  Still 100% negative comments.  The day he turns his forum back on should be a lot of fun...

I think you're looking at the wrong post maybe? Not sure what you mean by "less than 8 days old". The post is only 2 days old.

No problem seeing comments here, and I'm not even signed in.

I think you're looking at the wrong post maybe? Not sure what you mean by "less than 8 days old". The post is only 2 days old.

No problem seeing comments here, and I'm not even signed in.

On my phone the only way to see the comments is to select the option to "Leave a Comment", which isn't exactly intuitive, especially with a tab at the top right which says Comments, which takes you to the main KSer comments.

Also while all the written comments are negative, 16 people hit Like on the update.

You can test it but I do not think you have to be an actual donor to click a like.  You do have to be a donor to leave a comment.

16 people hit 'like'?  I didn't realize our favorite Lolbot knew how to create that many alt accounts.
