i meant ruin it for yourself. I'm not against mods at all.
I played 20 hours without mods and it was so-so for me. Once I found we could use mods I jumped right into it with some and restarted my game. I'd never go back to play a survival without mods. ARK gave me ptsd.
Blueturtle and I were talking about how cool it would be to tame some other critters/mobs. I would love to tame necks. I like them.
A skeleton hoard guarding a base would be rad.
I'm thinking next world I play I would want extended food timers and possibly ore through portals. I hate the long trips just to transport ore. To me, it discourages central bases and encourages more bases spread out. I stopped putting a lot of effort into building now because of that. I like to explore, build, and craft.
If there are mods that expand the building shapes I'd be interested in that too.

You don't need a mod to escape the ore trips. I started playing the regular way, with the long trips to bring back metal, now I just use an alternate world and a mule character. You can either mine directly in the other world or bring the ore back to your base with the mule character.

The devs should be doing the work, they just won the lottery on this game so should be able to hire people and or outsource.
There is so much of the design that is still at the very basic core of design.
Boats need a massive update. AI is horrible they can do way better than auto track pathing,i mean c'mon. This needs so much work it isn't funny and could never list all of the lack of's in this one area alone.
Crew ..where?
Fishing could use more work.
Building tiles/textures.
Actual working water zones, geesh this isn't 2000,this is 20 years later.
Taming,Atlas/Ark have a MASSIVE taming design, you could see players taming tons of critters all over the world/zones.This games taming is imo a complete waste of time.
Terraforming is fine, you can't really do anymore with this right now. Server control /settings,not nearly enough control over the server setup, needs more tools/settings.
I would say that other than terraforming the entire game needs a mod,lol anyone want to make 20+ mods?
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

The ore mod isn't the only reason, but I won't mind modding that behavior. There are a few other V+ changes we'll be making. We probably won't be installing a bunch of different mods though, just V+. I'm not sure if our hosting provider allows for that, but all of the changes we've seriously discussed seem to be covered by V+ and our hosting provider already supports it.

This isn't a signature, you just think it is.
