    There are so many different variants of Lineage 2 out there that it's confusing.  I'm not sure which are legitimate and which are illegal private servers.  Are any of them in a good state that would be reasonable for a new player to pick up the game today?

    Isnt this the one classic version which has cash shop in? Thats make it everything BUT classic. “When hardcore meant something”, there was no cash shop in the game.

    I think you get a better experience playing on one of the private servers.
