Did this game ever get that big graphics update?

I completely forgot about AO. I remember there being a big deal with a new graphics engine for this game. After a couple years i gave up and played other games. Did it ever happen? just curious.

    I think it did and you can choose the new or old graphics when you download the game but I hadn't heard much about it to be honest. I stuck with the older graphics.

    Be warned that using the whompa is absolutely broken in certain places you crash every time, it is only two or three places though.

    This guy has some fixes.
