What's your opinions about MMORPG that allow player to upload they own avatar ?

of course with some limited like how heavy an avatar is .

    It looks stupid.

    For something like Second Life it works, but for a game it's more important that all avatars have roughly similar graphics style and quality.

    No, don't like it. I want to choose what would fit the game world for MMORPGs. However the avatars side panel that mods provide for those RPG games like Baldur's Gate or Pathfinder. I really like those and have downloaded some to change mine often.

    Can you imagine an orc in WoW in gogo boots or an elf in army fatigues. No and people will do it if you let them, so no way.

    We already get xxxSephirothxxx, LukeSkywalker, Benson (not really...) , and xLegolasssx as nameplates. Now we can see them, too? YIKES!

    Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.

    Not even address the huge amount of abuse this can cause, like players uploading Avatars with tattoo's or imagery of Racist, Sexist, and Obscene icons and emblems, but the volume of Porn Star-esque female Avatars running around in nothing but a thong and high heels, would be sickening.

    In short, I think it would end poorly.

    It's a crappy idea unless it goes through a morphing process sort of like Everquest II had with SOE-mote about 8 years ago. No idea if that went anywhere but I remember thinking it was a very cool idea back 2012:

    I would like to see more enforcement not less. When it comes to character looks just increase the quality of the character designer and keep it within reason of the game.

    Character names should be much more restrictive than they are imo. I'm not a fan of rp enforced servers of old that would require you to speak a certain way, but when I play these games I'm already roleplaying and would prefer my level of immersion not broken by xxx420girraffeslayer69xxx

    If you like seeing walking penises because there will be people to do that as a joke or on purpose for attention. I'm from the old school times where the only vaild names are medieval names not in modern use.
