Yeah I am very excited for this IF they actually hold to it. I am looking foward to Dual Universe more then Star Citizen but I am no fool. These things usually don't stick to the schedule they keep.

I am impressed by one thing. Some of the post launch stuff was meant to be in the launch of the game. So they are doing what I said Star Citizen should do. Pushing things back till after launch so they can get the game out.

Honestly, I dont care about what "roadmap" these indie teams make since its just hot air at this point until they hit the points they set. The best thing they can do is make 1, maybe 2, points public and hit them to build credibility, not make this thing and make excuses next year when they can't do it.

All they promised for Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 is already in and working. They pushed something back as well (player-placed market terminals) but in general they try to stick to their roadmap and don't exaggerate or promise the moon. Dual Universe offers a lot of creative freedom for all players who want to design and build their own spaceships and buildings and the MMO-part already works.
