Two Worlds II gets an expansion

Just leaving this here for those who are interested.

Two Worlds II is a sort of Janky, creaky yet interesting/fun fantasy game. Sometime back I believe they posted some dlc on their steam page and I thought it odd that after all these years that would suddenly appear. 

And now they announced an expansion.

For those who like interesting, indy, fun yet needs polish experiences, it could be something to look into.

    Wait what?

    That's crazy, what made them release an expansion now of all times?

    I remember the first being one of the buggiest open world games I had played at the time. Getting launched in the air across the game world by jumping on a fence in the wrong spot was hilarious.

    TW2 is pretty good. The magic system is neat. 

    Is it this expansion the one that overhauls much of the game? I think they held off on TW3 due to working on this expansion.

    I never really got into the magic system (though come to think of it I didn't finish it) but I've hard that it's good.

    They did say they remade parts of the engine so maybe it does overhaul the game. We'll see as it's a day one purchase for me.

      have really enjoyed all the Two Worlds , 1/2 and all the expansions .. fun game

    Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.

    I downloaded it again last night and am enjoying it in all its cheesy glory. My Charles Bronson looking character, how he runs like a kid and a bunny combined in cut scenes ...

    Some of the art design is really nice, it's just a shame it feels so, erm ... "gothic series ... " in its creakiness.
