AAA games launch that are so much like finished products that
gamers who bought them during pre-order pass out.
No gaming journalist will feel the need to try to redefine
what MMORPGs, MMO’s or AlMMOst games are based on what they are playing these
days.
After universities started degrees in esports last year, we
finally see a Battle Royal degree coming this fall. Protests have already begun
from streamers who will now need to get a degree before earning untold millions
for just playing a game.
An Indie MMORPG actually launches and is more polished than
your mum used to do your school shoes.
People who have been described as “mobile gamers” finally
realise they are not looking at enough cat videos; mobile gaming takes a nose
dive.
After a class action lawsuit led by Tiny Tim, Father
Christmas has ruled that loot boxes are in violation of the laws of Goodwill to
all Geeks, you should get the present you asked for not a part of or a chance
of a present. Not wanting to be put on the naughty list gaming company directors have began removing loot boxes from games.
When a genre realises there are far too many of the same kind of game what can they do? Survival games will be pitied against one another so that
players only have to play the last one standing. There can only be one!
