SMITE Artsy Types Invited to Submit Their Work to Create This Year's Community Skin - MMORPG.com

The SMITE site has been updated with a brief post inviting artsy types to create this year's Community Skin. Submissions are being accepted through March 26th after which the Hi-Rez team will "narrow down all the submissions to a final short list". Once done, the community will be presented with the list so they can "vote on their favorite concept and we'll make it happen".

Sounds ok but why wouldn't they just send a memo to their players so they make sure they will see it,why do people not playing the game need to read this or better,why did they send this to you guys for us to see it if we are not playing?

So is this supposed to be their disguised advertising attempt?You want your players to join in,send them an in game memo.

1. You don't have to read it.
2. They didn't send it to us.
3. It's not advertising!

Point #1 is the most crucial. The title of the article is prrrrrreeeeeettttyyyy self-explanatory so, if you're neither a SMITE player nor an "artsty type", then it's skippable! Easy peasy! :>
