    Another one?  It seems like they do one of these fairly frequently.

    It's is popular and that is why they keep putting them out. Everquest is still enjoyable and a game that has market for these progression servers that people enjoy levelling and playing in. Amazing isn't that a 20 year old game  can still demand an audience.

    It makes everything too disposable.  Game was not designed for this type of play.  Basically turns it into a sort of Path of Exile with Leagues.  Not terribly attractive to me, as someone who played this fairly hardcore in the past.

    Do you still play ? If you don't then you're are not who they are interested in besides games are meant to be played and younger generations want to experience the game again. It is not like a mountain peak you scale once and talk about for the next ten years. Games are meant to be enjoyed and for that to happen they have to allow for new restarts.
