Financial model

i am a big fan of subscription models.. allways have been..

but the GW2 financial system also works very well..
You buy the game/expansions and can play freely
they are not forcing you like most other so called free games into subscribing..

There is no pay to win items in the store...
but there are a lot of convienence account upgrades worth spending on..
and then there is a huge amount of skins

in general i think people are spending just as much as in subscription games
but the model allows you to return any moment you want..

i think the GW2 financial model works just as well as a subscription model for me
and it allows you to return any time you want, witoth extra costs..

i wish Arenanet would show some numbers to proof the monetary success of this game.

Can you still buy the best weapons in the mall? Say Kudzu?
Does it still have money to in game currency swap?

If yes to both, it's still pay to win garbage albeit a good game underneath.

    Really?
Gold is a minor part of the prices...
if you want good stuff, you need to craft it yourself
and work very very hard for it..

on top of that, the game is about horizontal progression
which is totally the opposite of pay to win..

but then you base your whole opinion on a minor thing
which makes you biased to start with..
