Can i run this game?

First time i played this game was ona rented computer--now im wondering if all the settings are at the lowest if it will run AT all on my slower computer--

800mhz
64mb nvidia
256mb ram

What do ya think----dO i even have a chance of playing it?

My GF has about the same computer as you do, she has 512 ram though. She has to run it on the lowest settings but it runs well when she does that. (not perfact but still prity good)

if you had more ram it would help a ton because the game likes using ram for some reason.

I don't recommend trying to play SWG with less than 512mb of RAM.... It CAN be done.... but you'll have some lag issues. You will also have to turn off a LOT of the graphics options in the game. It's best on a 1ghz (preferably faster) system with 1gb RAM and a 128mb or better Video Card.

Minimum specs for just SWG: Empire Divided (original game w/o expansions)
CPU:
Minimum: Intel PIII 933 or AMD Athlon 900
Recommended: Intel P4 1.5ghz or AMD Athlon XP 1500+

Memory:
256MB RAM required 512MB RAM recommended (And it's really best with 1gb+)

Graphics Card:
32MB 3D Graphics Card with HW T&L Required.
64MB 3D Graphics card with VS, PS capability recommended
Best with 128 or higher MB Graphics Card

Monitor:
1024x768 required

Sound: PCI, USB or Onboard audio required. EAX 2.0 audio device recommended

The expansions bump those requirements up significantly.
