Do you want a remaster of Alpha Protocol for modern consoles?

I mean that sure looks like they are thinking it.

The game itself was actually pretty great. Unfortunately it came out at the wrong time and had a lot of bugs and the combat wasn't amazing. I feel like a lot of people would really enjoy it now if they were to fix the issues people had originally.

I loved this game, but I have a doubt about the usefulness of such a remaster.
The game never had a follow-up because he had not managed to reach a wide public in the eyes of SEGA. They think to reach more people with a remaster? If SEGA finally believes again in this franchise, they make a new game, not a remaster.
They can very well make a sequel that does not require having played the first game, so as not to lose potential new players.
