The Crew 2 News - Ubisoft has announced the details of this weekend's The Crew 2 open beta event. Players in the US will be able to take part in a number of features of the game from Thursday, June 21st through Monday, June 25th. Participants also have a chance to win a Harley Davidson Iron 883 motorcycle too!

Well, hell.  I /was/ going to leave this one alone since I already played the previous closed alpha/betas.  I had figured they would still lock progression to only the Rookie level.  Then again getting to the Famous level will only take about 4-6 hours of play, if that.

Iv never played the Crew but just watched a general video as to what the game is about, Muscle cars and unlocking parts to customize have me very intrigued . I'm gonna give the Beta a go this weekened.

Yep so just jumped in for about 30 min to try it out. Wow, the PC controls are absolute garbage, especially flying and overall camera control. Figures

Mostly because of the size of the engine. It's 'only' 883 cc or about 56 cubic inches.  The Sportster is an overall smaller bike than the full size H-D.

The standard H-D engine is over 1200 cc.  Box stock prices for full size Harleys start at about $16,000 but getting a dealer to sell a stock bike without any dealer add-ons can be difficult.
