Red flag goes up when (perma) flavour of the month are allowed to dictate game design. Several times now thats been the case. Stay away or get ready to smash 100 keys as a mage.

Several times now Ub3rgames has yielded in to a swarm of mages in terms of game design. Obviously mage is a more popular playstyles due to its depth, unlimited arsenal of abilities, mobility, burst potential and its sky high raw potential.

Physical playstyles has always been a small minority in Darkfall and it dosnt bode well for them when devs give in to pressure (even when untested).

Things look to be pretty balanced now with the title system...

You do realise they're (Ub3rgames) currently actively looking into skills/balance before launch

It's Paln2x - he's created the same thread on the official forums and the Reddit. It's what he does: yells, then when no one listens he throws his toys out of the pram. Even said he wasn't going to play - but he's still there posting away.

Some people are never happy unless the game is designed to their specific wishes...

Its correct that Im probably not gonna play, cause this mage shitstorm is a one way street. I just got it 100% confirmed its another failed magefall incomming.
So is it correct that the devs backtracked after pressure from the crymages after only one day? Is it correct that the devs have said that the titles is a buff to mages?

No matter how you twist it the devs gave in to pressure and then its only a matter of who has the most voices. So yes its a MAGEFALL, kids tend to stick to their candys and easy life.

How can you say its balanced when one "class" or playstyle dictate mobility? Its full loot ffs

Physical playstyles has always been a small minority in Magefall and it dosnt bode well for them when Ub3rgames give in to pressure (even when untested). Whats next on the agenda to nullify the extremely narrow physical playstyle?

In this game a physical voice will never be heard and if you get a spot in the sunlight, rest assure it will be a shitstorm followed by a nerf (or a counter boost to the swarm).

Even when features isnt even tested, they yield after ONE day of out of proportion arguments. BEGONE wasnt removed, it did cost ~4% potency (aka a title slot).

Hmm, if far more people play the same "class" it seems to me that either nerfing that class/playstyle or buffing the others/making them more fun to play would be the sensible thing to do.

That might be just me but you know you have acceptable balance when the players are evenly spread between all your classes/playstyles, if you want a huge majority playing in a single way why bother with the others?
