Pretty funny that 1 occurrence and "At least one commenter in the thread reported having a similar issue." is even worth reporting on, there's 4300+ comments in that thread alone and it's the only source of this anywhere on the net from what I can see.

Agreed! I've heard of cell phone batteries exploding too, doesn't == all cell phone batteries will randomly explode.
