Auto Play Systems

Like Dragon Age series. Players can pick which skills and when to trigger. Example:

You see a mob, name poporing. You just click/tab attack, then your character do all the skills necessary to beat the mob/mobs

Auto attack, skill 1, skill 2, skill 3, eat pots/heal if hp lower than 50% repeat skills 1,2,3 after cast delay, run away if hp low than 5%

And you just having fun watching all the skills your character cast during the combat. More casual, relaxing play

The management portion is the play. It's a niche genre that a lot of people enjoy, such as myself, and the OP.

Is this a shout out thread to games that have this or is there a tie-in topic specific to MMOs? If the first maybe belongs in General Gaming.

I've always liked lots of conditional options for companions in turn-based RPGs. The early Bioware games were great for that.

So not in a MMORPG, why are we talking about this then?

This kind of auto play system is began entering the world of MMORPG that make leveling system become more easy. It can be observed from most of the web based MMORPG and often is a p2w game. However, it also take away the most enjoyable part of a game where we ourselves can control the characters.
