Shadow of War collector’s editions

To start with, you can spend $300, £200 on the game’s collector’s edition. Called Mithril Edition, this expensive item is available only through GameStop in the US and Amazon UK in the UK.

The Mithril Edition comes with a copy of the game’s gold edition (which we’ll outline below), a premium case with a magnetic Ring of Power, an exclusive Mithril War Chest, the official soundtrack on disc, a cloth map of Mordor, a collection of exclusive Lithographs, and a tribes sticker pack.

The main event here is a limited edition, 12″ Tar-Goroth Balrog vs. Carnan Drake statue.

Moving on to more sensibly-priced options, we have the silver and gold editions. The silver edition includes these bonuses: Slaughter Tribe Nemesis Expansion, Outlaw Tribe Nemesis Expansion, and a Silver War Chest. This one is priced $80, £60.

Then there’s the more expensive gold edition which includes everything in the silver edition along with: The Blade of Galadriel story expansion, The Desolation of Mordor story expansion, and a Gold War Chest. This one will run you $100, £80.

It’s not clear what exactly is a War Chest, but we’re betting it unlocks some sort of in-game loot – though perhaps of a higher quality than what you’ll find out in the world.

As for Nemesis Expansions, these will each include “a new Orc tribe with new enemies, followers, missions, abilities, weapons, Fortress and wilderness updates, and a Mythic gear set.” Story expansions, on the other hand, introduce a new campaign, new playable characters and abilities, side missions, enemies, and allies.

All editions include a copy of the game, of course, but there’s also pre-order bonuses you can get by pre-purchasing any of them. These are the Legendary Champions War Party DLC, and the epic Sword of Dominion.

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is out August 22 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Well the Mithril seems like a fair idea because it is items not in game.
However the Mithril does include the Gold edition which is simply paying for the so called two expansions all at once with an ASSUMED discount price.

I use the term assumed because you would have to individually determine if there is a legitimate fully featured game w/o those expansions or if those expansions SHOULD be part of the main sale.

Breaking it down 200-300 lb i assume so that is a LOT of money in CDN funds like idk 500 or so?It is hard to put a value on real live items you can touch, they definitely hold some value and that varies person to person. If my math is correct then $500 is too steep for me,i estimate the value to be closer to paerhaps $100-120 that is 70 bucks for game 50 bucks for items. However if those 2 expacs are legit and not a scam to divide the game up for added sales then you could add another 30-50 value so 170-220.

The gold package at 100 bucks is easy to figure out.If those 2 expacs belong as part of the main package then 100 is too much for a video game.Especially when we likely see the game selling for $50 bucks complete on Steam within 6 months and with both expansions. In comparison,i loved Dishonored i got the entire package with like idk 3-4 addons for $15 because i waited a full year.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

For me the standard will be fine.

I love the first game but never purchased the expansions as they didn't seem to add anything I was interested in.

This game will be a first day buy but I'll wait and see if the expansions are of interest.
