The 2017 Game Developers Conference and Virtual Reality Developers Conference has officially kicked off in San Francisco, California. The annual convention is expected to run through Friday, March 3rd. The Virtual Reality Developer Conference is open for the first time ever and is designed to cater to the unique needs and technology that VR embodies.

MMOG, without the RP element? Is this like a survival game? Not much info as to when it will be out but it looks worth watching. I love Sci-fi stuff.

Wrong, tons of new mobile platform games are being demoed as well as some PC and console stuff.  Just go to Youtube and type GDC 2017

Honestly, I wish they would do one panel like this, just one! It would be interesting to see who walked off the stage feeling like an idiot. There is a lot of sentiment like this, like game developers don't know what's up, but the reality is they know much, much more than you'd think. If you'd like to ponder on something, then you might want to ask yourself how they could be missing something that's so absolutely obvious.
