Are there any fans of 64 player FPS games here?

MMOFPS was a cool concept with Planetside 2, but I would like more large scale FPS games to go along side that rather than to replace it all together. 

64 player FPS were some what of a thing last gen, and provided population balance unlike the MMOFPS counterpart genre. 

But I want to see this subgenre of FPS games advanced and improved. 

Whats some ideas and suggestions to make 64 Player FPS games more fun and interesting, especially for good replay value?

Whats some do's and dont's for making a great 64 player FPS game?

    Why not go for 128 like Battleground Europe.

    Because as population goes down it gets harder to fill that map.

    You need maps with some scale and vehicles in order to give most players a tactic. In smaller maps, it becomes a cluster which can be fun, but it lacks diversity.
    for games with no respawn per match, it's important to setup objectives and ways to diminish camping like a match timer.
