I heard a new text-based MMORPG is going to be released at the end of htis month! It is called Forgotten Creatures....its genre is fantasy. It really sounds like a great game!
Acually none of htis is a rumor, its all true! I have been working on my gane for quite a while and the first beta testing should begin at the end of this month. If you want mroe information about hte game just ask me!

What's the story line going to be? Is there any special role you play in the game, or are you another "Joe Smoe Hero" who goes around looking for monsters to gain EXP and gold.

What will he do next?
Well my game includes classses, races, and spells! You do also look for "demons" to kill as it follows the plot.... its got all the basics like gold, and exp too. Here is the current story line....You can or cannot follow it though a series of quests (its really a matter of if you waant to, its not required)..well here is hte plot so far, it needs some work like the fact the name "lost relm" sucks...
Forgotten Creatures- Story Line
You find your self in a strange land. It is a wasteland where the earth has been plagued buy war and death. Out of the corner of your eye you see a dark creature emerge from the shadows and run at you. Then a blast of red light strikes the creator and it collapses on the ground. Out of the shadows emerges an old man, his right armed raised with a bright red ring on his finger pointing strait at your heart. The old man looks at you and lowers his arm.
"Your $info[race]" what are you doing way out here", says the old man. "It's to dangerous for the young to be outside the village". Where am I you ask the man.
"Theres no time for questions, you will have to wait until we are back in the village."
You follow the man though the dark for what seems like hours. You are led to a large gate. The old man whispers something through the cracks of the gate and the gate opens.
You enter the small town. You notice that every person in the streets is carrying some kind of weapon.
You turn around and ask the old man What is this place?"
The old man replies "This is the lost realm."
The what!
"The lost realm, now keep quiet. It used to be a prospering place, full of life and beauty but now all that grows here is death."
"What happened to it?"
"This world was once the only home for many small magical creatures. The creatures brought good fortune upon this world and gave the humans the ability to use magic themselves. Some humans became very powerful with the magic gifts that were given to them but it was never enough for them. Men began to hunt down the magical creatures and forced them to give up more power but most creatures refused and were slaughtered. The few that remained fled into hiding. With most of the creatures gone there was no on left to protect this world. Demons were able to take over this place and spread though out this world. That horrible day is referred to as The Taking"
"But how did I get here?"
"The gods brought you."
"The gods? Why would they bring me here?"
"The gods want retake this world and turn it back to the way it was before The Taking."
"How are they going to do that?"
"They are bringing new warriors, of all magical races here to fight and reclaim this world."
"Why is this happening?"
"I do now know the answer to your question, but this world is now divided into warring armies. Too many have different point of views."
"But why me? What can I do? I have never fought demons before!
"The gods have the ability to see into your sole and so do I. You have the spirit of a great warrior! You are pure of heart and that is important because only those pure of heart can find the creatures that used to live hear."
"They're still here?"
"Yes, but only a few. They are the keys to stopping the demons. Only they can give you the power to defeat them."
The man hands you a small blue ring and says "these are healing amulets, they were gifts from the creatures from long ago. Only a hand full are left. This one will let you cast basic healing spells. The man then hands you a ring with a blue gem in it. These were created by men to destroy, but in the right hands it can stop destruction. This ring will cast basic attack spells. The man also hands you a small wooden shield, a bronze sword, and a small bag of money.
The old man looks at you and says "Use them well, and with that the man vanishes into the shadows."

Story sounds pretty good. I know you've said you need to work on it a little, I've noticed some typos, but that's all minor.
Can you tell me what type of classes and races you will have?
What's the max amount of players your servers can support?
Will you have monthly fees? If so, how much?
Will I have to buy this game on-line, or can you send me a CD?

yes there is typos
....i havent finished proof reading it yet. Lets see the races are dwarf, elf, fairy, goblin, knight, and wizards. Once you choose a race you choose an element of your character...you can be fire, water, or earth.
Im not sure of hte max amount of players i can handle but if the server ever over-loads ill upgrade anyway. Aafter a few months of running the game I will release subscriptions. Basicly if you WANT you can pay and get better options. You dont need to and never will. And as for buying the game it is just run off hte site so you just point your prowser towards it and log in
O and another major thing in the game if orgot about was armies. Armies will be like "clans"...but much more important. IF you want i can go into more detail.

I have just decided to let you guys have a "sneak peak" to my game. Its not even in beta yet but probaly will be in a matter of days (probaly when I finish up the battle engine). ive been spoiled by kool and flashy graphics, and cant seem to get into the game
