Is it still a major grind to obtain weapons and armor post level 40?

I am level 41 so I can not really say. So far I have not noticed the game getting grindy.

Grinding is significantly less than at start.

They kept reducing weapon break through cost/ requirements, and added daily challenge to lower the grind.

i would prefer they do another reduce cost to draw more players in. the game is still somewhat grindy but its not worst than before

Yeh, devs made it better than it was previously, but the game still remains as one of the most grindy mmorpgs on the market, that’s a fact and it’s not debatable. Hope that one day, things will improve for Blade & Soul, but that is yet to be seen. If you’re after powerful items, you might just consider doing trades with other players.
