I don't know what to say about this.  Love chips but try to avoid buying them as they don't last too long.

    Dangerous ones for me:

Lay's Kettle Chips:  Jalapeno. Sea salt and black pepper.  Yum.
Tapatio Doritos:  where have you been all my life?!

Non-chip dangerous:  Werther's Original Caramel Popcorn.  nom.....

Kettle Chips are ok, I think I like Tim's chips better. But I think it's more of a Pacific Northwest thing.

Where I live, the ice-cream man used to poor Tapatio into bags of Doritos then sold it for 25 cents more.

I've had tim's chips and they are good.  It could be like how in LA we like In and Out burgers over Five Guys while New Yorkers love Five Guys more.

Now which pizza is better?  NY or Chicago?

Haven't tried either; but I'm gonna go with Chicago just because they seem to be louder about how much better their pizza is.

I grew up not far from Chicago and while deep dish is fine I prefer the thin and crispy pizza I grew up on back in the 60s and 70s.

Chicago doesn't make a pizza. They make a cheese, tomato sauce & other ingredients pie. Also I like Five Guys more. In and Out make a good burger and fries, but it's more of an affordable option. Five Guys is more a premium option.

Five Guys was underwhelming to me.  Our premium burger joints are a bit different from Five Guys.  Take a look at The Counter:  http://www.thecounterburger.com/pdfs/MENU_TolucaLakeCA_0816.pdf

We have thin crust pizza in Chicago.  I can't recall 100% so this might be off by years, but I believe my first deep dish pizza was in 1978.  Not including that "pizza" we had in grade school which is more like what you wrote about.

In Los Angeles, I have found two amazing pizza places in the past 30+ years.  Albano's on Melrose blvd, which is out of business.  Little Toni's in North Hollywood is the best pizza in LA.
