World of Warcraft News - The World of Warcraft team has some good news for Legion players who love to have as many alts as possible. While faction reputation will not become account-wide, a pair of very welcome changes will be heading into the game with the 7.1 update. Most notably, upon hitting 110, players will unlock world quests without the need to have attained 'friendly' status with each faction. This kicks in once a single character on an account has completed these objectives.

@Forgrimm I agree. From a lore / story standpoint, the "old way" of a linear progression through the story would have been much less fragmented. As it stands now, we, the meta game players, have to understand that everything happening in the Broken Isles is taking place simultaneously. While it's fine to have the open questing / world questing all over the map, the main story arc and side quests should have had a more linear approach in my opinion. It's far to easy to lose the urgency of the events in Legion as it is now.

They really need to make artifact >>> knowledge <<< account wide, would help a lot.
It's takes a grand total of about 10 quests to get Friendly with all 5 factions after you've already done enough quests to reach level 110. This is an almost meaningless gesture. Want to make the game more "alt friendly", make the Underlight Angler available to any character that is 110 or has a certain Fishing skill level. If you achieve 3 stars in a profession recipe, make it so alts get 3 stars as soon as they learn/earn the recipe.
Again, I'm not knocking the game at all, but this is not the definition of "alt-friendly".
They need to make AP and AK apply across all specs IMO. Also, the third relic slot shouldn't be gated behind quests that you can't advance for days after reaching 110. It should be made available as soon as you get to the level cap. If they do all that then most of my issues with the artifact weapon system would be gone.

This is a good change. Being required to quest all the damn time sucks. If you have suffered through the questing once, that should be enough.
Now to find more than one character I don't hate the class gutting they all took.
In my opinion it would have been great if they made, so that 50%(heck even 25 or even 10%) of the AP you spend on your main spec goes also to your other 2 specs(or at least 1 designated spec)...
Because I don't know about other people, but for me with my limited time I can pretty much only play 1 spec at a "decent" level, because my other specs(whether on my main or alts) are simply too far behind with their traits...
That's a bummer for me especially when Blizz failed a bit with the tuning for classes and now they are doing all the work, buffing 1 spec, nerfing another... Not a great feeling if you have grinded 2 weeks like a madman and got your spec nerfed hahaha.
