None the less, their might be some people who would call her weak because she did remove herself from any kind of public view but she lived through the last years and during that time she had a huge amount of negative posts directed at her. During that time she was a strong leader of CIG. And in her own words she is one of the most intelligent women on earth and one of the most skilled business women on this planet(1) and as such can you imagine what had to happen that such a super human being is forced to quit? There has to be some evidence because she wouldnt lie about her abilities/qualifications.

It also completely ignores all sales from DVD (its still being sold today, after 17 years).

I actually love this. I think that more sites should actually do this. I would love to see people kicked off Facebook, Twitter, or whatever else for acting like assholes. The Internet is the one place where people aren't held responsible for their actions. Maybe it's time they were? Freedom of speech is a great idea, but it doesn't come without consequences. If you were protesting and throwing things at people during your protest, do you think you wouldn't get arrested? Also, you could be arrested for simply carrying on your protest and not co-operating, which is why it needs to remain peaceful. So even with freedom of speech there are rules. Just not on the Internet.

So basically DS was visiting a porn site and recognized Sandy. Then he criticizes her for being in the industry that he wishes he could be part of. Such a hypocrite. So she was in a porn big deal. I'd date and even marry a porn star under the correct circumstances.

Technically Sandy wasn't a porn star. She just did 1 movie that we know of and thats hardly some kind of mass conspiracy. When she met Chris her life was changed by how great of a man he truly is. Now she's all google eyed at him acting like a young girl again. He's the peanut butter to her jelly.
If the stories of her behavior at CIG are even vaguely accurate, Sandy and Chris deserve one another.

My personal opinion is that there has to be some damning posts out there that made her quit because after all she had to take a huge amount of critic before. So can anyone please finally point me to those posts or at least tell me what those post included? I mean comedians had comments which threatened their lives. Politicians received threats to their life and both are still in business. So I have to assume the SG had to receive quite a bit of offensive comments which forced her to step down. Given that thin skinned peopled like politicians dont quite I assume someone made a serious threat against her family. None the less, their might be some people who would call her weak because she did remove herself from any kind of public view but she lived through the last years and during that time she had a huge amount of negative posts directed at her. During that time she was a strong leader of CIG. And in her own words she is one of the most intelligent women on earth and one of the most skilled business women on this planet(1) and as such can you imagine what had to happen that such a super human being is forced to quit? There has to be some evidence because she wouldnt lie about her abilities/qualifications.

Edit: I am in no way pro flame/hate posts but I also don't like people who are against any kind of critic aka whose argument for banning people is " who doesn't silencing doubters".
Edit2: unless (1) is a fake then you might want to check the last picture and compare the punishment for the offense to the perma/decade ban for being non supportive of the project. I was speaking about people that mask their opinion as facts and use no or highly incorrect/incomplete sources to substantiate their claims.
The only claim i make is that the calculation that resulted in a claim of 19 M$ loss (or 19 million pounds loss as was the original claim) for the Wing Commander movie was incorrect and shoddily done. For details: scroll up.
I drew parallels between this claim and the discussion around Sandi Gardiner. There are also many claims about her and her past that are fabricated nonsense or opinions masked as facts (based on no evidence or incorrect evidence or deliberately faked evidence).
I make no claims of my own w.r.t. to the final profit of the Wing Commander movie ... and its also irrelevant to the topic of this thread. The WC Movie discussion was only used as an example for the sloppiness so prevalent in the presentation of opinions deliberately being masked as facts.

I actually love this. I think that more sites should actually do this. I would love to see people kicked off Facebook, Twitter, or whatever else for acting like assholes. The Internet is the one place where people aren't held responsible for their actions. Maybe it's time they were? Freedom of speech is a great idea, but it doesn't come without consequences. If you were protesting and throwing things at people during your protest, do you think you wouldn't get arrested? Also, you could be arrested for simply carrying on your protest and not co-operating, which is why it needs to remain peaceful. So even with freedom of speech there are rules. Just not on the Internet.
