First Assault Enters Steam Open Beta - General News

Nexon America has announced that First Assault, tactical FPS based on Ghost in the Shell IP, has launched its open beta phase of development on Steam. Along with the game's arrival of Steam, a significant update was also deployed that previews the Ghost Assault Mode, a new character and much more.

I've played a few hours of it when it cost money to play (wasted 5 dollars to try it). It's a very boring generic free to play shooter. It feels clunky, has very weird aiming mechanics that make no sense (aiming with crosshairs is more accurate than aiming down the sights) and in general is just not fun to play. The guns you start with are pretty okay but they had cash shop only guns in the beta and that alone turned me off from the game quite a bit. It has a couple unique features like each character you play as has a unique ability like invisibility or a shield for the team or a shield for the team that is like a one way mirror that was kinda cool. It just isn't worth it with games even by nexon that are miles above it like dirty bomb.
