TooL's New Player Guide

Since I just found a level 1 in a Orc group on noob island (level 15 - 20 group lol), Im going to make a short Leveling guide.

Select Start World: Wrath (each world is a diffrent map, im only doing Wrath)

Select Start City: Hothor's Doom

When you first log in, you will be standing next to a statue. Just NORTH WEST (by the mini map) is spiders and frost walkers. You can kill thoes till you hit level 3. There location is LT: 20139 LG: 71280 (aka 20.1 71.2).

After you hit level 2 or 3, go just north of that camp to 20.2 71.6 (about a half screen or so north) and kill the Wolves and Hulda till your level 5 or 6. You can train if you want, before you come to this camp. The town has the basic figher, rogue, mage, and healer trainers. Most likely you will not have found a group yet, it only takes 10 min or so (depending on base class) to get thru these camps.

Now your level 5 or 6, go back to the town you started in and train some and get a new weapon/whatever. When your done, its time to take the long run to the zone. Go directly North East from Hothor's Doom, the zone starts at loc 21.4 71.7 (if you hit M and look at the upper left of that big map, you will see where you are, and also see the Icon for the zone, the south west tip of the zone).

This zone is called Huldrings Vald. There are camps everywhere and random mobs, so take care when running thru it. I will list the popular camps.

First camp you will come across that may have players is the grobold king camp at 22.0 72.0. This camp is horrable, I hate it. Its slow, and the king eats newbies whole. There is always a group here because its the first camp you come to.

Second best camp is a few screens north (slightly east) of the king camp. The Wulfin camp at 22.2 73.1. This is a very good camp to get to level 10 at. The wulfins can eat newbies alive, so its best to have a group to take them on.

The next camp is the best one in the zone. It REQUIRES a higher level to help lower level people, becasue of how many creatures are in it. Pulling stuff to the outside as a low level group is possable, but be prepaired to get zerged. This camp is almost directly east of the Wulfin camp at 22.7 73.1 (this is outside the camp heh), the Snobold Village.

When you hit level 10, wait to promote, you still gain xp untill your in "negtive xp". You can gain all the way to level 13 this way (about -100,000 xp). Talk to the runemaster and repledge to Starkholm. Your advanced class trainer is somewere there, and after you promote (if you have negtive xp) go kill a few boars outside town (to the east) and get instant levels (1 per kill to level 13). You will understand more when you do it.

Next thing to do, is gear up in Starkholm, go to the runemaster and repledge to "All-Father's Rest". Go directly North West from town to the Grimstaark Peaks zone, there is a BIG orc camp that normally has a group, at 25.1 76.1. You can level here all the way to level 20. If that group is full, go directly WEST to the south west side of the zone. Thats the minotaur keep, and you can hit level 20 there as well.

You can hit level 30ish on newbie island (your kicked out of the newbie guilds at level 21), but only if someone is powerleveling at the big wolfin camp in Grimstaark Peaks at 24.0 78.9 (very rare to find people here, but possable).

When you hit level 18 or greater, go back to the runemaster in All-Father's Rest and repledge to Aeldeth. The town is safe, but outside it, its FFA. You will die, and possably die alot, to other players. Your best bet is to try and get into a group at the undead spawn (its not a zone) thats north of town, ask in /na for a group for a newbie (and hope they dont summon gank you), or make the long run to Fellgrim Forest to the north west of town, and look around to see if anyone will add you to there group there (diffrent nations farm here and usually let newbies into there groups). Your on your own, make friends, if you can. Get into a nation or guild.

By this point you will see that SB's graphics sucks, and that the PvE is horrable. The fun will only begin when you are level 40 or greater (or any level really, ive seen level 20's kill level 50's before), and when your part of an organized guild/nation. Destroy enemy mines, destroy enemy citys, proove yourself in combat, build an empire, Play to Crush.

If you need help finding a guild/nation to join, you can post on the offical UBI boards (this is the wrath enlistment):

    HERE

You can also use the /who option ingame. Type /who , select "All" and "Stats", click the "Recruiting" button and the checkmark. It will give you a list of guild recruiters ingame (if anyone is flagged).

Side note, my guide isnt offical and is poorly put together. Its ment to be a "get off of newbie island asap" guide. Its always a good idea to try and farm some gold on the island before you get kicked off, or you may end up armor/weaponless and broke on the mainland.
