    It's already possible to play FF IX on PC using Playstation emulator like ePSXe:

    You'll just need to own Playstation version of the game.

    FF IX was truly one of the sleeper hits for me among the series. I loved IV, I loved VI. I loved VII, but I didn't like how they moved from the classic set up but whatever change is fine. I HATED VIII with a passion, not really sure why, but I really despised it.

    IX was good since it had the classic elements of the FF series, like a freaking Black Mage that looked like a Black Mage. Consequently, IX was the last FF I fully completed. I did like X, but I was working way too much to devote the time to it on top of my mmo schedule. XII came out right when we had our baby, again no time. XIII....yeah.

    I might have to pick this up as long as the UI looks ok.

    My favorite final fantasy finally going to get a port.

    Would have preferred a real HD version instead of a slight tweak since I know quite a few people that didn't give the game a chance due to the visuals. It's their loss, it's one of the best imo.

    (Awaiting final fantasy 12 port and 15 patiently)
