Other free to play mmos like teras combat system? Skill based.

    Wait for wildstar, comes pretty close but is somewhat more mobile. 
    meanwhile you could check out neverwinter :-)

    Raiderz.  I'm not sure how good it is but the combat is probably more similar to Neverwinter than TERA.  Darkfall probably has the most skill based combat but you need to be able to tolerate full loot and a sub based game.

    ESO has combat similar to Teras. Reticle based, no mouse cursor on screen. No animation lock though.

    Oh and it's Buy2P

    Sadly neverwinter is to much pay to win for me to enjoy now days.

    Once I get the money I will be getting eso for sure, but needed something else to play at the moment.

    Eventually but I think I want eso before guild wars 2.

    Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but Vindictus had decent combat.

    Hehe im actually playing and enjoying this one now, but it is still tab targeting just way faster and somewhat skill based.
