[H] Nostalgia - Old School Raiding Guild (Open)

Nostalgia is a new guild on Thrall-US (HORDE) that is focusing on old school raiding. We are starting with Vanilla (MC, BWL, AQ) and will progress into BC and later over time. If we get enough interest, we plan to run multiple groups each week so that people have a chance to play multiple roles if they so choose.

Rules:

• No Monks or Death Knights until their respective expansion.
• You are allowed to level in heirlooms, but must remove them before you start raiding. Only gear that has been acquired through dungeons, quests, and crafting will be allowed.
• The only raid gear you are allowed to use is the gear that you get while raiding with the guild at the appropriate level. Buying BOE epics that drop in raid content are not allowed, and neither is having a high level run you through the raids. You must earn them.
• All races are accepted since race does not directly influence difficulty.
• PVP gear is forbidden during raids. You are free to PVP outside of raid times and can use that gear there.
• All enchants must be from current content. If you are caught using gear or enchants from later expansions you will be booted from the raid. Once the issue has been corrected you may re-join the group in the next raiding session.
• Potions, and on-use type items will be hard to regulate so please be mindful of what SHOULD be used in relation to the current content.

FAQ:

Q: Will you be bringing 40 people to a 40 man raid?
A: Seeing as how health pools have been adjusted, damage increased, and new skills have been added to the game over time, we will be bringing much less to these raids. Our current estimates suggest 10-15 people will make the raids hard enough to be fun, but not enough to make the raids take 4-6 hours.

Q: How do I join?
A: There are two main ways to join the guild : 1) Add myself (Janix#1935), Kakin(Smoothwinds#1287), or Nebresto(Neb#1172) in-game and we will invite you. 2) Leave a forum response with your character name and someone will invite you as soon as both persons are online at the same time.

We are currently farming MC and gearing up to start BWL.  Just need a few more regulars that can make raid times (Tues/Thurs 8pm).  A bunch of us are already getting the itch to start BC content, so we are starting to level our 70s up now with the intention of starting that content soon as well.  Come join us!
