[Column] Elder Scrolls Online: What Does Paul Sage's Departure Mean for the Future?

The game concept is a mess, minimal UI but hardcore end game based on dps and numbers, action combat that in the end is far less action than even GW2,lot of grind for the champions points, the itemizazion is a total shit(no jewel crafting and few good slot options for most of the builds).

If this guy is the one that "planned" all this garbage I think that the game can only improve without him.

That is exactly what built the community at City of Heroes. The Devs were always trolling the game. And if you had trouble with a game bug, there was always a GM available to hop over to you and fix your problem. When was the last time a MMO tried to fix a problem that minute, in game, while you chatted with them in group? We knew they cared about their product.

Honestly? These kinda guys always seem to leave sometime rather soonish after launch. Pretty much see the same story with every MMO where the figurehead idea dev leaves to go work on something else.
