    They don't drop from mobs any more. Since all f2p games advertise the store in some way they don't bother me, especially as they're very rare. I wouldn't like it if they were regularly dropping from mobs myself. It's also automatically applied to the store, you don't need to enter any codes or anything. It'd be better if the levelling box just said you've got a discount for an hour, rather than giving you an item.

    I don't mind spending a bit of money in the cash shop.  What I object to is when a cash shop becomes a casino.  PW loves it's casinos.

    I don't think I've ever hated a game publisher more than I learned to hate Perfect World Entertainment for what they did to Neverwinter.

    Neverwinter could have been one of the best MMOs in history.  Great combat set in Forgotten Realms, the most popular of all D&D campaign settings.

    I could go into great detail about the toppling of the game and the absurdly horrible choices made by those managing it (beginning with Nightmare Thursday) ... but there's no point.  You either recognize PWE for the steaming pile of shit that it is or you convince yourself they're not that bad because you've had some fun with their games.  But for those of us that see Neverwinter for what it is and are saddened by what we know it could have been, no explanation is needed.

    Then you never witnessed Frogster,for me they are by far the worst blemish in the entire industry.Frogster is soooooooooo bad they went so far to even change their name.

    I will say i don't think much of PWE entertainment either but then again i don't much like any of the cash shop run operations.Notice i went back to EQ2,well the TL servers are subscription the way i want it to be although still has  a cash shop you are not inclined to use it.

    Casinos are awesome. People go there hoping they are going to win big. They give out free alcohol which people drink knowing it will impair their ability to make smart decisions. After losing all their money, the people then leave thinking to themselves they almost hit the big one, only to gladly come back another day to do it again.

    F2P games are very similar to casinos. People start a f2p game thinking they will never spend any money. They are then given a few free drinks (aka xp pots and cosmetic items) which starts to impair their ability to make smart decisions. After spending way more money than they expected to, people leave the game thinking to themselves they almost found the perfect game except for the cash shop, only to gladly come back another day and try another f2p game.

    The sooner someone starts an FA (f2p anonymous) the better.
