Question

I've got a question for you guys.

I was recently talked into trying Grand Theft auto V.  It didn't take long for me to realize that the game isn't really for me.  It made me sick to my stomach to mow down cops in the intro, and after that I was less than thrilled with the dialogue.

Then I drove through the city.  I loved driving an (almost) Dodge Challenger through the streets and quickly realized two things.

1.)  My son would absolutely love driving through this city.  The attention to detail is impressive, and he is really into streets, cars, signs, and traffic lights.

2.)  I will never let my son play this game.

So.... My question is.  Is there a game out there with any where near the same detail that allows someone drive through the streets of a city.  Basically, I'm looking for a grand theft auto V with no violence, foul language, or hookers.

Does this game exist?

If not, I think a mod for GTAV would be awesome.  One that takes away all of the story and violence and lets people drive and fly around.

This article has a great way to make the game "E" for everyone. http://www.polygon.com/2013/10/4/4798442/pro-social-gta-v

Death is nothing to us, since when we are, Death has not come, and when death has come, we are not.

Sounds like you should look into the racing genre.

    Amjoco, Thanks for the laugh.

Everyone else, you may be right.  It seems that most racing games don't have the open world feel of just driving through a city, but the game link above did look fun.

Have you tried Watch Dogs yet? You can choose to be good or bad in it.
