Interesting Idea for Elder Scrolls Online

I'm not a current ESO player due to the fact that I'm a console gamer still waiting for the game to release for Consoles on June 6.  However, I follow each and every update/news that is presented on ESO live, twitch streams, view PvP builds on YouTube, and have gone through all current patch notes so I really know what's going on in-game. Disclaimer out of the way, let's not waste any time and improve your game Zenimax!

I notice how it's been a year since the game's release, but people still admit that it's impossible for higher level players (Lv. 30 to Lv. 50) to help others with the starter level (Lv.1 to Lv.25)  PvE quest. Overland Content, as it is currently, is not utilized to allow players, guild mates, or friends to replay certain quest. This system is set intentionally to make the game more immersive and make the player feel like their decisions left  a permanent impact, for better or for worst, in their story line. wenxue2222b16_ESO hit the mark when he stated on the official ESO forum: "Every quest being daily would make no sense at all. Will that village get invaded by goblins every single day? Will that ghost feel the need to put right its wrongful death every day? Will that ship get shipwrecked every day? Will that Khajiit need a secret shipment of moon sugar every day? It will be like Tamriel Groundhog Day."

His point made, that repeatable overland quest would certainly break immersion, so why do most players proceed to ask for repeatable quest?

The answer to that question, at least for me and my friends waiting for ESO to release on PS4, is:

"We still want quest to be repeatable, despite breaking immersion, because we want to socialize in-game with each other and help our friends, guilds, and newer players (for those of us who are that nice) progress through the zones."

Only dedicated Elder Scrolls fans and mature crowds mostly play this game anyway. The Elder Scrolls fans who play ESO play because ever since Oblivion (Morrowind for sum) we wanted to share an Elder Scrolls experience with FRIENDS. The Mature crowd play because they can afford it, and also the community in ESO is so great and productive because it's majority crowd are mature and mature people (for some strange reason...) are more than happy to help new players progress through the story. So everyone want's to 'help' others quest, but cannot due to the current system...until now. I propose an Idea Zenimax.

                                           Heavenly-D System

You already have an option for players to respec skills in the game for a certain amount of gold, so why not use your new 'Crown' currency for players to respec levels? It doesn't have to be in update 8, 9, or even 10 but input a way for players to respec levels. I currently own a PS4 and have pre-ordered the game long ago but some of my friends don't have a console yet and will buy one once the $400 price goes down a bit. Once the game releases, I'll be playing whenever I can and leveling up.

My greatest fear is that when my friends finally do purchase a PS4 and this game, I'll be too high level to play low level content with them. Since every skill in the game is obtainable, and at Lv. 50 you can play another faction’s quest, there really is no reason for creating a new character just to quest with friends. Also, for my friends who do have PS4, most of us have college, work, and responsibilities that limit our game time, which makes it even more difficult to find time in our schedule to play the game together. But we do find time to play, just to find out that we've all out-leveled a zone and cannot replay some quest together? Make it so that my Lv.50 V2 character can respec back to Lv. 17 to play together with my friend who is also Lv.17 and make all Lv.17 overland quest re-playable for me. Also, make it so that players are rewarded for sacrificing in-game stats to play with friends.

By this, I mean in exchange for the  1,000,000 experience points that made up my veteran 2, give my now down-scaled Lv. 17 a permanent 0.003% buff boost to all attributes (health, stamina, magicka) and a vanity pet (I'm bad at math so I don't know if that exact number is a good buff, so you guys come up with an appropriate number later). Environments that I've made an impact on before should go back to neutral and quest that I've done a long time ago (saving a town from harm, finding ingredients for certain NPC's, escorting an NPC, etc.) are again re-playable which gives me the option of choosing a different path entirely. But ONLY make it so players can respec their levels DOWN, not the other way around. Once you respec down to the desired level, make the transaction non refundable and impossible for you to be Lv.5 for one hour to help a fiend, then back to veteran rank 7 the next hour.

To add a little flavor, you can even spice things up by having the respec be an actual quest in-game! So you spend x-amount-of-crowns to purchase the option to respec. Once you do, the transaction unlocks an in-game solo event (quest) for you to do. For example, the quest could have the player collect vampire ashes, a rare black soul gem, and a heart of a daedra to take to a hidden cave within the forest of Valenwood (location will be different depending on varying factions). The player gives all the items to some mystical guy (maybe Y'ffre as he is known as a god of nature) who performs a ritual and throws all your ingredients in something called "The Well-Springs of Youth." Your character get's baptized in the water, screen turns black, and after the game reloads, your character wakes up somewhere else outside Valenwood and that hidden cave location vanishes and cannot be seen on the map. Just a thought.

Please Zenimax, consider this Idea. It would be interesting to have something like this as an OPTION in the In-Game Store. Thank you Zenimax!
