I just stumbled upon Luchorpan animation (1080p recommended), and here is some more behind-the-scene info on them from the CU art team. Good part of that playlist is already "covered" in the OP, but there is couple additional details on Golem & Cait Sith (vids 2 and 3) and animations of Helbound.

Also, here is highly detailed model of St`rm (and couple more) I found on ZBrush Central. Offtopic, but - for anyone interested in 3D models and character creation, browsing the site is warmly recommended. Loads of very interesting models from all kinds of games and movies!

     W...aaagh?

Let me preface by saying I never paid much attention to this game or had high hopes for it but the banshee and st'rm models have definitely caught my attention. I think I need to take another look into this game :D

Yea, I wouldn't really call them anything out of the ordinary at this point. I'm not sure if they need(or even can) to be either, since CU seems to be focusing on big RvR fights in general.

I wonder how they will look in an actual game environment with a high player count. That'll be the true test and that's where it actually matters - in game.

Weren't  these uploaded two years ago?

The game is celebrating 2 years since it's successful Kickstarter. So 2 years ago they had nothing to show. These models are prototypes that have largely been made over the last year or so. The current state of the game is starting to develop and add clothing and armor to the models along with improved animations in and out of combat.

The current world Alpha map is getting many upgrades including textures and terrain and inclusion of Nvidia tech like WaveWorks and Turf Effects. I'm not sure if the test map is increasing in size to emulate real zones yet but some of the developers specifically hired to create the larger world are on staff with more still to be hired. I imagine we are a few short months from seeing the world starting to take shape and the game moving toward a more mmo-like beta later this year.

    You stay sassy!

the races look exotic. I like seeing something different then the normal elves, dwarves, humans.
