I feel dirty from just watching that video, like the stain just wont come off.

So ... Chris Roberts answered (on - i guess - one of the regular livestreams)  some e-mailed in questions on:

    1) Asteroid Mining   (that things can happen while you are mining, like the asteroid breaking apart and you have to dodge)

    2) In Game Economy (thats its more on a macro economy level, not working a machine like in SWG)

    3) Procedural Generation (CIG hired some staff experienced with PG for producing systems/planets/all kinds of PG stuff)

    4) Manipulating Objects  ( the level of interaction with objects)

    5) the Million Mile High Club  (Star Citizen Social Module, only available for Kickstarter "Wing Commander" and "Completionist" level backers ... they get their own club and can invite friends into it (imagine a Revel and York hangar style environment) ... if you know SWTOR and the club at the spacedock where you can enter only if you had a Special Edition version of the game, that should be a good analog)

    6) on the chances of surviving out there in the big universe as an experienced pilot  (CR guessed the blogger will probably die at the first asteroid field by running into it ;-)

Then the guy who send in the questions added an animated furry cartoon with squeeky sounds.

And posted it as an interview.

    Have fun

It's an amusingly presented but informative video - hardly trolling.

Fantastic is perhaps going a bit overboard.

Good.. Perhaps... Fantastic.... Not by a longshot.

This have been a good conversation

Fantastic is also - Imaginative or fanciful; remote from reality - which is the meaning in the description.

I think the idea of using procedural generation for asteroids, planets and ship damage states is fantastic. I hope they have success with this, it would allow for much more interesting variations.

Good lord... so it's a funny (if weird) presentation, get over it. The answers from Chris Roberts are what's important. It's 2015 and this year we should see a lot more news / info as Squadron 42 ramps up, as well as work towards the PU. There was some interesting responses in that video hence why it was posted..

You would think someone can't be interested in more than one game given some of the responses in this thread...
