Change loot system in raids

there is one problem which made me leave ffxiv, which is the loot system on raids. I know other games like wow, rift or swtor, have raid lockout system where ur items are saved for the week. But the loot is saved for each class which means u can do raid 4 or 5 times a week depend on how many max lvl classes u have. In ffxiv, the loot is saved for the character and not for the role u entered which the class/job. This is really boring bcs u just have nothing else to do other than pvp until next week. I hope they change the system and make it the raid lock for each class not the character.
