I figured it was worth posting here for those who are interested in quickly hopping in game and claiming the free rewards while they last.

There's some pretty cool Stronghold decorations that can be claimed starting today (16th December) until January 12.

Go get them!

    Thanks for the hint, I'd forget this if not seeing the post (I'm waist-deep in LotRO festival :) ).




    Just claimed the decors and also the two Strongholds... holds'... holdses... whatever. Btw it clearly showed which side is the really dark one, getting DK was an easy walk, while getting Coruscant... I was punched in the face with snowballs every minute. And they're wondering why everyone's switching to the so-called dark (though peaceful) side :) besides the cookies I mean.




    edit: just strongholds I guess, for some reason I thought Strongholds is the singular form, because you see it everywhere as Strongholds. I just leave it there for the lolz.

    Stronghold decos, woohoo, finally a reason to get into the Life Day event. I know its petty but, I am usually very happy when the event is over and I stop getting hit with the snow/glitter balls lol.

    Not petty at all, I'm a huge festival addict in mmos but I tend to stay away TOR during these days :)

    True, in my case it's not just the snow throwing, more like Life Day itself... you could chase me out of the world with it easily. The memories of chanting wookies (in robes), poor Carrie Fisher with an awkward smile, Harrison tries to not laugh his head off... damn you Lucas and your special holiday :D

    LOL I cannot even tell you how many times I was snowballed yesterday.... someone in chat even exclaimed that next person who will throw snow ball at him/her is going to be assassinated /grin.

    But I really got to farm the snow parcels for decorations so I am going to snowball all of ya back /grin.

    Good thing you can do that to NPCs LOL. My poor droids in my Stronghold got their fair share /grin

    Having never really gotten into the whole Life Day thing before, I too am now a snowball throwing hooligan lol. I wants me my decos dammit.

    Yes, Dulfy rocks. Meanwhile I checked back (took maybe 2 minutes at the vendor but got dozens of snowballs in the face in that short period) and I think I'll pass. The holo-tree looks awesome, but 20 parcels is a lot (more than 100 snowballs with my luck). True, I could use Aric for the role of target dummy, but not even he deserves an hour of constant snow dusting :)

    I tried to hunt down a droid but no luck with them either. I guess my apartments will stay tree-less...
